1970’s Malia Owls & Floral Cottom Day Dress

Hootie hoot! 1970’s Malia Cotton Halter Dress with the most fabulous Owl and Floral print!!

 

This print and the cut of this dress is absolutely adorable!! I fell in love with this the moment I saw it! The owl print is everything! Plus, Malia is one of my favorite vintage dress brands because they have the cutest and most vibrant prints! It also has adjustable straps. No stretch!

 

This dress came so damaged to me last year and I have tried my best to fix it. The zipper was completely broken and didn’t zip down or even budge, so I had to replace it. The built in bra also came crumbling and dusty, so I also had to remove that as well. I have washed this at my cleaners and tried to get it as clean as possible, but there are a couple stains that did not come off. I have not tried soaking it. All in all, after fixing the zipper, (which was a nightmare) I would say this dress is still beautiful. The print alone is a rare beauty!

Condition: There are two separate small stains on the dress. This has not been soaked or stain treated. The bra came crumbling in dust so I removed it and washed the dress. One tiny spot on collar that is fading

Some of our pieces are pinned to fit our mannequin who is a size small, with a waist of 26"
